RRC was constituted under the NSS wing of the college and AIDS control society of Assam on 6/08/11. Initially, 60 volunteers of NSS registered under the RRC.

1 December World AIDS day programme Red Ribbon Club of the college is another voluntary association actively associated in the field of  health sector. Over the years RRC has successfully organised numerous blood donation camps, HIV awareness campaign for which it was awarded the Prize in the year.
