Women's Cell
The College has a Women’s Cell to address women-centric issues and promote the upliftment of women. The Cell functions under the umbrella of the Teachers' Unit, Panigaon Om Prakash Dinodia College.
Since its inception, the Cell has carried out a number of outreach and extension programmes. On 8th March, in celebration of International Women’s Day, members of the Cell visited Maitri Ashram and conducted an interactive session with its members.
Over the years, the Cell has been actively engaged in initiatives such as plantation drives, awareness camps, signing of MoUs (notably with TTN College), and organizing lecture programmes focused on women's issues and empowerment.
What makes the Women's Cell unique is that all members of the Teachers' Unit, regardless of gender, are also members of the Cell. This inclusive approach contributes significantly to the Cell’s mission of addressing and working towards the resolution of women’s concerns.
